| Students who have a contagious condition (including vomiting and diarrhea) must be kept home and away from school. Students who become ill at school will be sent to the front office for further assessment. If they are unable to return to class or running a fever over 100, parents will be called to pick them up. Students MUST BE fever free without medication for 24 hours before returning to school. The school will provide simple first aid but will not administer any drug, including Tylenol, Advil, aspirin, etc., unless written authorization is given by the parents. Students will not be allowed to take medication apart from staff supervision, unless authorized to take epi-pen or inhaler with written authorization by the parents. Parents will be called in all cases of emergency. | |
